2023 Grounding & Bonding Continuing Education Course

Course credit – 8 hours or 8 CEUs

This course follows a small manufacturing plant, project case study. During this course you will review the differences between grounding and bonding, the grounding electrode system, the effective ground fault current path, and grounding and bonding of a separately derived system. Upon completing this course you will have inspected the existing grounding electrode system and sized all necessary grounding and bonding components of the manufacturing plant, project case study.

Our Theory & Calculations and Wiring Methods courses also follow this project case study.

All continuing education courses are based from the 2023 edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and are approved by the Colorado State Electrical Board and DORA. A Colorado State licensed electrician must complete 24 hours of Continuing Education by September 30th 2023. A minimum of 4 hours of Code Changes is required.
